NISSAN ANNOUNCES SENIOR EXECUTIVE CHANGES

 

Rolle, Switzerland (1 December, 2011) - Nissan has announced the appointment of Etienne Henry as Vice President, Product Planning, for the AMIE region (Africa, Middle East, India and Europe). He will be based at Nissan International SA in Rolle, Switzerland.

Etienne, who is currently Global Infiniti Program Director, replaces Pierre Loing, who is appointed Vice President, Product Planning, Nissan Americas. Both appointments are effective 1 January, 2012.

In his new role, Etienne will be responsible for advanced and product planning for Nissan and Infiniti vehicles throughout the AMIE region as well as the Zero Emissions Business Unit.

Colin Dodge, AMIE Chairman commented: "Nissan has ambitious objectives for the AMIE region and Etienne will play a key role in building our brand reputation and ensuring the consistency and strength of our product line up".

"I would like to thank Pierre for his strong leadership and contribution to Nissan's AMIE region over the past few years where he played key roles in the development of Nissan Qashqai and LEAF. He was one of the recipients of the 2010 President's Award recognizing his significant contributions not only to the launch of the Nissan LEAF, but also to winning the European Car of the Year. We wish him all the best in his new position."
