NISSAN ACHIEVES LANDSLIDE VICTORY IN CAR DEALER POWER SURVEY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NISSAN ACHIEVES LANDSLIDE VICTORY IN CAR DEALER POWER SURVEY

·         Nissan has finished first overall in Car Dealer Magazine’s Car Dealer Power survey

·         Survey designed to find the best and worst manufacturers to represent in the UK

·         27 car manufacturers confidentially rated by dealers

·         Nissan ‘faultless’ in 6 out of 9 categories

The UK’s happiest car dealers have Nissan models in their showrooms. The results of Car Dealer Magazine’s Car Dealer Power survey are in, and Nissan has been named the best manufacturer to represent in the UK.

Car Dealer Power is a ground-breaking independent survey aiming to canvas the opinions of the UK’s car dealers on all aspects of the manufacturers they represent. Dealers were asked to rate their respective marques in areas crucial to the success of any franchise including aftersales support, supply of cars, stock levels and warranty offers.

After dealers delivered their verdict, an overall average score was calculated for each manufacturer. Nissan’s 91% rating handed the UK’s biggest car maker a resounding victory over all 26 rivals.

Nissan achieves landslide victory in Car Dealer Power survey…2

Car Dealer Magazine comments: “Nissan wins our Car Dealer Power by an absolute landslide. Scoring an incredible six ‘Faultless’ average scores is an amazing achievement and one that will have MD Paul Willcox smiling from ear to ear.”

Nissan’s complete scorecard is shown below, showing the average ratings awarded by dealers in each category.

One Nissan dealer quoted in the Car Dealer Magazine feature explains why his business is so successful: “The Pixo was a good addition to the range, the Note continues to sell well and the Qashqai is just a dream. Buyers love it and that’s because we can offer good deals on it and, at the end of the day, it’s a great car.”

The Car Dealer Power accolade comes after Nissan also received a glowing review in the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) 2010 Dealer Attitude Survey, showing significant improvements in several key areas.

Nissan’s UK MD, Paul Willcox comments: “It gives us great satisfaction to see that our dealers are delighted to be working with Nissan and can’t wait to get their hands on all of the new products that we have in the pipeline. For Nissan customers, our dealers are our public face so they remain a crucial part of our ongoing success.”
