NEW 110PS ENGINE FOR NV200: MAKING THE BEST EVEN BETTER
What do you do with a small van that's swept the board with awards from every corner of the LCV market? You make it even better.
Following a range update earlier this year, the NV200 is now available with a 110PS version of the existing 1.5-litre dCi unit. Compliant with Euro 5 emissions regulations and available on all but the entry-level E-grade NV200, the more powerful engine's CO2 output increases by only 2g/km to 139g/km. Opting for the range-topping engine also gives drivers the added flexibility of a six-speed manual gearbox.
The new range-topper also features the same upgrades introduced to other models in the range earlier this year. Top of the billing is the standard fitment of Bluetooth connectivity across the entire NV200 line-up. For anyone working on the move, this kit is essential in enabling you to keep your business connected at all times.
Step up the range to SE grade and you can benefit from another new standard fit item - a rear view camera. An essential item for any commercial driver backing into tight spots with a full load on board, the system displays a clear picture of what's behind you on a dashboard-mounted screen.
For those NV200 drivers who want the very best equipment in their cabin, the £13,635 n-tec variant is sure to fit the bill. In addition to the generous standard kit offered by SE trim, n-tec adds the popular Nissan Connect satellite navigation and communication system along with cruise control and a speed limiter which can be adjusted by the driver.
Keeping cool when hard at work is also now even easier with the addition of an exclusive HI-TEC option package for the n-tec variants, with air conditioning and Intelligent Key both added to the kit list. Providing even more convenience for the driver, Intelligent Key is Nissan's advanced keyless entry and start system. Simply approach the NV200 with the key in your pocket and you can open the door and start the engine.
If your NV200's cargo is people rather than possessions, you'll be keen to know that both five and seven seat versions of the NV200 Combi have also been upgraded. Bluetooth connectivity is standard across the Combi range, while a new flagship SE+ variant adds Nissan Connect, cruise control and a driver adjustable speed limiter to its standard equipment list.
Nissan's LCV sales and marketing director, Francis Bleasdale, comments: "We've been delighted by the success of the NV200 which has proved that a new van can make a big impression in an established market if it offers the right mix of innovation, quality and value. With significant range enhancements and a powerful new flagship engine, we look forward to even stronger demand for the NV200 over the coming months."
