Nissan Navara Trek-1°: high-spec special version of award winning pick-up on sale now

  • All-new special version of Nissan Navara on sale in the UK now
  • Trek-1° guarantees exclusivity with only 400 examples of the multi-award winning pick-up available
  • Based on double cab Tekna grade, adventurous new styling features include bed mounted styling bars with LED spot lamps, side styling bars and Trek-1° decals

London, UK (August 04, 2017) – The tough and stylish Nissan Navara Trek-1° special version is on sale now in the UK priced from £35,065 OTR (inc. VAT). Based on the multi-award winning range-topping Tekna grade in double cab specification, Trek-1° adds a host of additional extras boosting the visual and practical appeal of the already well-specified pick-up.

The name Trek-1° takes inspiration from the geographical location of the Navarre desert in northern Spain – at -1° longitude.

Navara Trek-1° is powered by the robust 2.3 dCi 190 engine, which offers ample performance, along with class leading economy figures of 44.9 mpg for the six-speed manual transmission and 40.1mpg for the seven-speed automatic. All versions offer ‘on-demand’ four-wheel drive as standard.

The already impressive Navara specification and styling is enhanced for Trek-1°. Alongside all the technology expected in a modern lifestyle vehicle, Trek-1° includes a number of desirable extras for an attractive price of just £3,435 inc. VAT above a top-spec Navara Tekna.

Exclusive extras for the Trek-1° include black sport styling bars, with two powerful forward-facing LED spot lamps attached to the top section, giving a finishing touch that’s practical and stylish.

The Navara Trek-1° also comes with black side styling bars, black 18-inch six-spoke alloy wheels that are exclusive to Trek-1° and a smart new load bed cover. Made from high-grade durable plastic and finished in black or white, the load bed cover is hinged at the end closest to the cab and lifts easily using a single gas strut at either side.

This practical feature offers added security, allowing valuables to be secured from view. Beneath the cover is a load bed divider and liner, which keeps loads secure during transportation. It’s fitted into the load bed’s C-channel restraint system, allowing it to slide forwards and backwards for ease of access and loading.

The Trek-1° is finished in a choice of two striking exterior colours – Black Metallic or, unique to Navara Trek-1°, Storm White. Trek-1° decals on both sides of the load bed complete the visual enhancements.

The Nissan Navara is engineered to always be in its element, with practical capabilities including a more than one tonne payload, 3.5 tonne towing capacity, and four-wheel drive modes which can be adapted to range from heavy-duty off-roading to around-town workhorse.

Packed with smart ‘in control’ technologies, it’s the perfect partner for business and leisure use. Every Double Cab comes with unique-in-segment multi-link rear suspension for a superior ride, plus a number of safety technologies including Forward Emergency Braking, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist.

Navara Trek-1° also benefits from the NissanConnect infotainment system with satellite navigation and DAB digital radio, 360° Around View Monitor, rear parking sensors and LED headlights. Further highlights include a full-sized spare wheel, leather seats, heated front seats and eight-way adjustment on the driver’s seat. A tow bar and differential lock are also available.
